Help to complete a course

What to do if you haven't achieved completion

If you believe that you have completed the elearning but the tick is not appearing in the block then it's likely that you haven't completed all the interactions.

Here is what you have to look at: Go back into the elearning.

Progress bars in the elearning menu

The blocks on the title page all carry a progress bar at the bottom or a space for a green tick on the top right corner.

In this example, the first block is complete and the second is not complete.

In this example, the first block has not yet been completed, and the second is complete.

When you complete the course, all the progress bars under all the blocks will be full, or all blocks will have a green tick.

Look for a section that is not complete and click it to go to that section.

Progress bar in a section/page

In every page or section of an elearning module you will see a progress bar at the top of the page. Most often, it is full width across the top of the page like this one:

Here is what a progress bar looks like when the section or page is not complete:

Using the bar to see what you have done

Clicking that progress indicator will show you which components you have done and which you haven't.

In this example the white bits have yet to be done and the darker ones are complete.

Clicking a section that is still dark will take you to that section and allow you to complete it.

You must complete all the activities to complete the module.

Exiting

When you are done use the Exit button which is usually displayed at the top of the module window.

When you have made sure that all the progress bars are filled you should have successfully completed the module.

You can use the back arrow in the browser to go back to your course page.
